Project 10 Pan- 8 week update!

Hey everyone,
I'm so shocked that 8 weeks has gone since starting this project! However I am seriously happy with the amount of product I've been going through. You'll see a little change in this update but it's something I think is more manageable.
I have used up:
Buxom Amplified lash Mascara
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation
Rimmel Glam Eyes in Precious Rose (hit pan)
You Butter Believe it Body butter
Rimmel Wake me up Concealer
Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 08
Rimmel exaggerate lip liner in Eastend Snob

I currently only have 3 left to finish or hit pan on before I can end this project or finish it by 2nd November so I have some time. Here is my progress on my other items.
Mac Dainty Blush
Honestly everyone, I can't see any progress here. The dips are exactly the same and from seeing Instagram photos of people's progress on this blush, It may not be done by the end. However I maybe shocked!
Etre Belle Lifting Peel
I took the photo from this angle because although from the front we still have no progress, turn it on its side and the tube is flat! I can see light through this now and I hope we won't be long until this is finished. I can see that my final items finished will be this and my NYC powder!
Collection Bronze Glow Mosaic Powder
Although I have decided to swap this for another product, I thought I would update you. After wearing this through the summer months (with a tan), this product does not suit me during this time of the year. It does have a lot of shimmer (which my dainty blush also has) so it is a no go for fall makeup. Here is my progress before it went into my collection again.
Maybelline Galactic Mauve Lipstick
This is the product I am swapping out my bronzer for. I already enjoy using this product in the fall and it is also in my use it up for this year so why not add it in. I already had some progress on it (there is a line on the cap) however I will also track this in my book.
NYC Smooth Skin Powder
This product is the one with the most progress so far this update. I use this everyday and although from the side I have no progress, if you look in I've already hit pan many times. I think with constant use this product maybe the next to be finished.

I think for my next update I would like to have either my lip peel or the NYC powder finished. I have no idea how long it will take me to finish the other two so I may not have them done by November!

New project! #9bynewyears Intro

Hey everyone,
Recently on Instagram I posted my entire makeup collection and the numbers have scared me into doing a no buy for this month. This also resulted in another project! I've decided to join in with the #9bynewyears giving me a good few months to get into some full size products and finish some more makeup off.
The following products I plan to finish off by New Year's Eve. I will be updating every 9th of the month and then the final will be on New Year's Eve.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation
I've actually put this in my useitup for 2016 but have been using it recently so why not use it up before? Ever since my holiday I've been using this and I've made this much progress. Time to get it finished.
Elf smudge pot in Gotta Glow
Again this is another item in next years use it up, however with my current pan that palette eyeshadows this is a better base that my colour tattoos. However I have decided I now know why I put this back in my collection. The product itself is way to creamy and gets all over my bottom lashes when applied to my eyelid. I need this gone from my collection.
Monu Spa Reviving Mist
This product I bought and started using before my holiday and I used to like it. However now my skin is changing a little from summer, I've found my makeup doesn't last with it. I only have a little left (from the second mark on the bottle) so hopefully this will be gone soon. I spray it every time I put on powder foundation.
Sally Hansen Lip Gloss
This product has been in my #projectlip on Instagram since I started and I really want it gone so I can start on my more fall colours. I took this photo just as the product was pooling, so hopefully I am right around where it is. With constant use I can get this gone soon.
Maybelline Baby lips in Melon Mania
I love Maybelline products and this is no different. This baby lips has been in my collection for just under 2 (maybe 3) weeks and I've already made major progress. For this product and a few others, I have marked in my book the progress I have made.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lip liner in Clear
After the use of my other Rimmel lip liner, I've seen I can use a lip liner pretty quickly and this is my oldest one. It is clear so I can use it under and product I decide to use and hopefully it will go down quickly. Again this is a product marked in my book.
Foxy from the Naked Basics Palette
For some reason I doubt I will be able to pan this product before New Year's Eve but I do use it everyday as a concealer setting product. I do have quite a big dip in it and use a brush to apply. If I don't hit pan on it, I will not be bothered as I do like it.
Stila Smudge Stick Eyeliner in Black Amethyst
I'm afraid this is a product I can't show you the progress on as if I turn it up, it won't go back down but I have tested this product before and it sits lovely on my waterline. My eyeliner in my #13byhalloween is almost finished (about 2 days left) so I will be moving on to this one after that.
Colour Couture eye shadow dust in White
I got this product at Christmas last year in a kit from my boyfriend and have been testing it as an inner corner highlight for quite sometime. Today I also tested it out layered over my Elf Smudge pot and it makes the gold a gorgeous colour. I doubt I will manage to use this all up but I will give it a good go!
Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudest
I recieved this gloss stick in a recent swap from my friend on Instagram and I love it! So much so that once my main gloss is finished I want to have the chance to use it. It's a beautiful nude colour and sits well on the lips.

Hopefully I will make some good progress on items this month especially with my no buy, however if some don't get used then I will not be worried. Wish me luck with this project!

September Empties!

Hey everyone,
Well you know it's empties time when you can't even put anymore in your empty box! After totalling up this month, I'm extremely pleased with the progress I've made and can defiantly do a no buy month next month!
If you don't know already, for my empties I write down the value in a notebook and total it up after a month. All my empties stay in a box at the end of my end ready for the end of month photo.
(sorry for the blurry photo! It's quite dark in my room!)
This month I used a total of:
4 Haircare
15 Facial care
12 Body Products
10 Samples
13 Makeup
5 Eyeshadow pans
4 Misc

The total for September empties is: £210.61!!! I'm extremely pleased with this value and this was topped up with a few high end empties courteousy of Glossybox, but over all a good value! Next month I would like to continue on using up my makeup via project pans and would like to focus on my samples as I have WAY to many of them!

Glossybox- September!

Hey everyone,
A month goes round so quickly! Here I am coming at you with another Glossybox unboxing and I'll say now, it's a bad month. I have a few items I like but I don't agree that it was worth the amount you pay for the box. If you don't know already, Glossybox is £10 plus postage and you can get different monthly subscriptions. Glossybox does also create boxes for different countries so it's worth checking if they do one for your area.
This months theme was style and getting into the fall weather which I defiantly agree the items do.
Maria Nila Luminous Colour Hair Masque- full size- £18.95
I must admit this is the product I'm most excited for. If you know me well you already know I love a good hair mask and I do compare them all to my favourite from Beauty Protector but unfortunately that  has a price tag of £16! As soon as I openned this one up, I fell in love with the scent. It is so fruity and I bet will smell amazing with my current shampoo.
Bella Pierre Shimmer Powder in Whesek- full size- £12.99
Okay, maybe I lied a little. I am also excited for this product! I have been in love with Bella Pierre products since my first ever Glossybox which had a gold coloured shimmer powder in it. This one is a beautiful silver/grey colour which will probably appear on my lower lash line in the weeks to come! Defiantly a fall colour.
Nails Inc polish in Battersea Park- full size- £11
I really should re-do my profile on Glossybox because I always get nail polish now and although I love polish, I never get colours I like. I do know that in this months box you could have also got a light pink colour which I would have worn to death. However khaki green really isn't my thing and this polish will be passed to my sister.
Invisibobble Traceless Hair Ring- full size- £4
I must admit I will never use these. I can't wear my hair up to sleep (I manage to get headaches from the pony tail) and I have to use black hair ties for work. So these although a great idea (if they work), will probably be passed on as well.
Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro- Full size- £16.70
This i think was a waste of product in my box. Although I do like recieving brushes in any of the boxes I receive, this one I think just isn't worth £16.70. I haven't given it a shot at applying eyeshadow yet, but I already know I don't like the bristles. They are synthetic and feel weird even on my hand. This may also be a product going to my sister.

As well as the products in our boxes we also recieved a code for an invitation to Best Secret (clothing) which I will also never use! I shouldn't complain about this box as all the items were full size, however I just don't feel the items were worth the price or even being in a style box.

Project 10 Pan- 6 Week Update

Hey everyone,
Doesn't two weeks go so fast? Luckily I have some more progress to show you on my project 10 pan this time, but I am wondering If I should start doing these every month? Let me know what you think. I've added in a bonus product this time as I can see myself using everyday at the moment with the current eye look I'm doing so I may as well add it to my 10!
So far I have finished:
Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation
Rimmel London Glam Eyes in Precious Rose (hit pan goal)
You Butter Believe it Body Butter
Rimmel Wake me up Concealer
Rimmel Kate lipstick in 08
Only 5 (now 6 with bonus product) to finish or hit pan on.
Buxom Amplified Lash Mascara
As I said in my previous update, this mascara has been really dry ever since I got back from Italy. I've noticed a few times now that it is beginning to flake during the day so it may be time to throw this out soon. Which is really annoying because I only bought this in my birthday haul (July) and it's only been 2 months with consistent use.
Mac Dainty Blush (hit pan)
Can you tell it's flatter? I was really excited to see this when I was taking photos of the products. There is barely any shadow now and I'm enjoying it still. I can't see myself hitting pan on this product any time soon, but i really don't mind.
Etre Belle Lifting Peel
I'll be honest here, I haven't been using this as much these last two weeks. However look at the progress I'm making! Matching this with my current night lipbalm is meaning I'm making progress with both items, moving more out of my collection. Keep moving forward!
Collection Bronze Glow Bronzer (hit pan)
Guess what's now being used? I'm loving the fact that soon after my last update I began to use this and now I'm already seeing a dip. I've decided that I'm only going to keep this in my project until I hit pan as I'm really not feeling the glittery shimmer for the fall season. The product itself is amazing though! Consistent use and I may reach pan before I thought.
NYC Smooth Skin Face Powder
I really don't understand why this is some youtubers holy grail product. I mean it's nice and it does the job however, it's bulky, annoying and gets everywhere. There is progress these last two weeks and I am constantly hitting pan and having to re-hit the product to the bottom. The bottom line is where I currently am.
BONUS PRODUCT: Rimmel Exaggerate Lipliner in Eastend Snob
I've been loving this Lipliner with a current project lipstick that I've found myself using it everyday. Why not add it into the pan? I've started where the black line is, however after measuring it broke and is now kind of in the casing. This maybe gone quicker than I thought.

Hopefully I will have even more progress to show you in 2 more weeks, unless we decide to go a month. In which case i may only have a few items left!

Review- Freedom Pro Melts Lipgloss

Hey everyone,
I had to just do a quick review and swatch post for you all as I think the colours of these Pro Melts are gorgeous! Please do excuse the swatches (this is my first swatch post and I chose something difficult!), I will get better with practise.
I purchased the Freedom Pro Melts Lipglosses from Beautycrowd.com, however you can also purchase these from Freedommakeuplondon.com. I chose the colours (left to right) Up, D-ream and TGIF. Here are a few swatches and then I'll go into what I think of them.
Up- Freedom Pro Melts
D-Ream Freedom Pro Melts
TGIF- Freedom Pro Melts

Can I just say, Holy pigmentation batman! These Lipglosses are right on there with colour! I found that after wearing the colour does fade and TGIF does stain (as you can see around my lips). The formula itself is a like a liquid lipstick in texture, glides on and lasts like a lipgloss. For one who doesn't really like the dryness of a liquid lipstick, I love these! They're moisturising, lovely and comfortable to wear. However when applying you do need a steady hand, as a first time swatcher I needed to practise 3 times before even making the swatch for TGIF.

I plan to purchase a few more of these colours and I know Up and D-Ream are going to make more of an appearance in my up coming looks. TGIF is a little too dark for my complexion, so it may not stay in my collection for long.

#12emptiesofchristmas- Finale!

Hey everyone!
As you may have guessed by the title and If you've seen on my Instagram, it's already time for my #12emptiesofchristmad finale! I managed to finish my Maybelline colour tattoo this morning and I have to tell you it is the best feeling ever.
This beauty took 4 months of everyday use to complete and I know I had a few more months to finish this but after a while I found it was just going anyway. I just want to say thank you to Jencoempties from Instagram for such an awesome project and I'm glad I managed to finish it!

Just two more projects left including my #13byHalloween and Project10pan and I'm making some huge progress with them too!

Review & Comparison- Garnier, Bioderma and Absolute

YHey everyone,
Since I've come back from my holiday I've been testing out two new (or new to me!) miceller waters/makeup removers. With Garnier Micellar water being my favourite of all time, I've decided to compare these two to it.
We are comparing the Garnier Micellar water with the Bioderma Micellar water and Absolute eye makeup Remover. In value the Bioderma out weights them all coming in at €9.90 on offer. Garnier I can get for around £3.00 at my local boots and the absolute you can purchase from BeautyCrowd.com for £6.95.
Absolute Waterproof Eye makeup Remover- £6.95 beautycrowd.com
Seen as I use the Garnier exactly like an eye makeup remover, I decided to compare these two together as well. This product is a dual phase remover which needs to be shaken up before applying to a cotton pad. It has no oily residue left on the eye after application and doesn't leave your eyes blurry like some removers. With all of these I left them on my skin for about 3 seconds and wiped away. This is what I managed to get off in that time frame with the Absolute.
Sorry for the disgusting view but I managed to wipe away all my eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara in one swipe.
Garnier Micellar Water- £3.00 Boots.co.uk
This is my all time favourite makeup remover, it's not greasy, doesn't leave a film and takes everything off with a few swipes. Obviously the thing I like the most about this product is it's in expendsive. As you will see from the cotton pad in a second, it actually doesn't do as well as the Absolute! A few seconds with this and well, take a look.
It managed to take off some of my eyeshadow and the eyeliner. It took quite a while for me to take off my mascara (which isn't waterproof) and this resulted in a few eye lashes falling out too. I may have a new favourite eye makeup remover!
Bioderma Micellar Water- €9.90 (special price)- Italy and France
Now I had to try this when I got to Italy. I neded to see what all the hype was about and as far as I can tell it is no better than the Garnier. It has a very watery constancy (which made it very runny on the cotton pad) and doesn't leave an oily film. I did find after taking off my face makeup that I was still left with a little left on my skin.
As you can tell from this photo that my makeup did come off with Bioderma however I then followed (as I normally do) with toner just to make sure all my makeup did come off. This is the cotton pad after toner.
There is a bit of makeup left on the cotton pad showing that the Garnier is in fact better than the Biodema in my eyes. I've found that when I use the Garnier nothing is left on the toner cotton pad.

After all these pictures I'm sure you can tell my views. I defiantly like the Absolute better for taking off my eye makeup and the Garnier for taking off my face makeup. If I were to recommend any of these it defiantly would not be Bioderma. Save your money and buy either the Asolute or Garnier.
