March Project Pan Finale AND finish 4x4 intro

Hey everyone!
So today's the day. March's Project Pan has finished and I've got no progress from last week. The last two items I had left in this project were the Stilla Lipgloss in Glamour and Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer. I'm not sad to see these two go. The Stilla lipgloss was a total flop, way too sticky and the colour was a little too bold to re-apply. I used it a handful of times since last week, but no progress was made. This will not be a repurchase and in the empties it goes. My Miss Sporty concealer is another story altogether. I loved this product and although I do have probably another week left in the tube, it is over 2 years old and I don't want 2 year old gunk on my face!  Big tip though: I did find that when the stopper was taken out, the product was used up faster.
This project was a quick and fast one for me and I found that by choosing items which were almost empty (bar 2 of corse), I found I enjoyed my project pan more. After I have finished my seasonal projects, I will be back on to monthly project pans.

Finish 4 by 4th July
This is my next instalment of project panning. Instead of my monthly project, I feel I will be making much more of a dent in my makeup if I carry on with #finish5byCinco and start #pan4x4, both of which were started by youtubers designed to use solely makeup products. #pan4x4 was created by Amber who also created the Pan that Pallet challenge (which I am thinking starting with a mini pallet in the summer). The aim is too choose 4 makeup products which you can finish by 4th July. Seen as this is one day after my birthday, I'm creating an extra challenge for myself that if I can finish these up I can buy one high end makeup purchase on my wish list. On to the items I have chosen.
I decided that seen as I have too many small pallets, lipsticks and primers, that this would be a perfect project to clear some of these out. These 4 items all happen to mix well with my #finish5bycinco project too!
Nyx 5 colour shadow- The Caribbean Collection
Believe it or not but this pallet is one of my original pallets that I bought when I first started collecting makeup. I haven't touched it since I bought it (or rarely have). I decided that with this project I want to hit pan OR clear 3 shadows, which won't be too hard as these shadows kick up a lot of dust. I have been wearing these colours all week so far and have made a big dip in the middle pink and end purple. These colours also mix well with my newest colour tattoo in 15- endless purple, so also helping with using products.
Barry M eye & lip colour in 1
If any of you have been following me on Instagram (@Piperbeauty) then you will remember this from previous project pans. I really love this product but do need to move it from my collection. I have marked down in my panning book where I am at this update and I currently only have 4cm of sharpen able product left (the end is plastic so can't sharpen). I tend to use this as a base for the grey colours, a highlight for my browbone and cheeks and down my nose. A multi use product.
L'oreal Lumi Magique base Primer
This primer is only just a recent purchase for me however I haven't given it a chance apart from this week. So I thought this product would be great for it to prove itself. It is the only primer I have used that is more of a moisturiser form and so far so good! The second mark on the bottle is where we are starting from.
Too Faced Melted Liquid Lipstick in Melted Fuchsia
Now this product really is one of my favourites however it is only a mini and I want to be sure I want the full sized or even their new melted metals collection, so in the project it goes! We're starting at the line which is only at the L in melted. This hopefully will be gone within the first update as you do have to reapply. This however is a bright colour so minimal eye products are needed.

I hope everyone will be joining me, Amber and the panning community on this new but quick challenge.

Project Use it Up Progress

Hey Everyone!
I've decided that after a few months or so I will be updating you guys on how I'm doing with my project use it up for 2015. These posts won't be my usual picture heavy unless I have some serious progress to show you although you probably would see that in my project pans. I'm going to write all my current use it ups first and then my wish list. I'll write the progress/whether or not I have bought it next to it in all my updates.

Use it up list:

- All body lotions- only have 4 left
- All shower gel- only have 5 left

As you can see I have used up 6 products on this list (not including the body lotions and shower gels) and only purchased 1. I decided when I first started that I would use up 2 items on each "section" before purchasing a new product hence why no items have been purchased. The Maybelline Baby Skin was an acception as I loved that primer so much! Seeing my progress like this (instead of just my list in my book) has made my realise how much I've enjoyed panning my products and how much I like to treat myself with a reward when done.
Hope this post wasn't too boring for you all!

March Project Pan- Update 3 (short & sweet)

Hey everyone!
As my post title suggests this weeks project pan update will be a short and sweet one. Why? Because I've used up nearly all my items! I currently only have 2 products left to use up and I'll be honest, when I started this month I knew these two would be the last to go! If you haven't already you can probably guess which two are hanging in there!
Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer- This concealer just keeps going and going. However half way through the week I noticed nothing else was coming out of the bottle and when I looked down it all the was left was the sides and a little at the bottom. You know what that means! Remover stopper time. So off it came this morning and hopefully this will allow me to use it up a little longer. I do think this is wayyyy past it's use by date though so you may be seeing this in my empties post soon!
Stilla lip gloss in Glamour- I still really really hate this gloss. I've found that if I twist it once it gives out just the right amount of product for a stain and I really like that look, however I really am forcing myself to use it and after this last week is over, I will be throwing this one out if not a lot of progress has been made. I'm sure I can use that last little bit up!
These beautiful items here are all my current emptier for this months project pan. After choosing products which I know I could use up this month, I've found that I enjoyed seeing pan and empty bottles more even if they were not in my project pan. Next month I will not be having a monthly project pan but taking up a seasonal challenge started by Amber (known as AmberF on YouTube) called 4x4 (finish 4 by 4th July). I've already chosen my products and all four are makeup. If I can finish all of them and seen as the 3rd July is my birthday- I will allow myself to purchase one "High end" makeup OR beauty buy! The opening post about that should be up 30th April (or round a bouts!)

Glossybox- March 2015

Hey Everyone!
Seen as my blog is pretty new, I bet you all didn't know I receive Glossybox monthly. I've only had 3 boxes from them so far and all have been amazing. This month is no exception!
I received the following in order of what I think I will use first/the most! Each time I do a over haul review like this I will give a mini review under each photo and the boxes link and price will be at the end.
Naobay Moisturising Peeling Mask- full size (£13.71 for 100ml)
I love love love face masks of any kind! This one smells amazing (almost apricot), feels delicate on the skin yet the beads are good enough to exfoliate and is good for the environment (it's organic and Eco friendly). I have a feeling this one will become a firm favourite in weeks to come.
Essence Lash Princess Volume Mascara- Full size (£3.30 for 12ml)
Everyone can do with a new mascara from time to time and i am in no way going to say no to a free mascara. Isn't this packaging cute?! I love how sleek and sophisticated it makes me feel without even trying it. I haven't opened this one up yet but according to the card, it has a cobra shaped wand. I can't wait to try this once all my others have died!
Dove Advanced Hair Series, Shampoo and Conditioner- Sample size- full size is £5.99 for 250ml
I know what your going to say here. Shampoo and Conditioner? But you got two conditioners. Don't worry I have already emailed Glossybox to tell them. However I will never say no to shampoo AND conditioners, I do hate it when boxes only send one of the pair. The product smells like a typical conditioner and is smooth. I can only imagine that with the shampoo this would make a lovely pair.
Ncla Nail Laquer- full size (£13 for 15ml) AND Sleek Makeup Pout Paint- full size (£4.99 for 8ml)
As you can tell the last two items, were my least favourite and deserved to be in the picture together. I'm by all means not saying I don't like makeup (you guys know me better than that!), however these are colours I just will not wear. The nail Laquer is called "I only fly private" and will be worn when I'm on holiday and on my toes in the summer. To me this is not a finger nail colour, defiantly not for my skin tone. The Pout paint- well I love the idea of the product. You can apply as little or as much as you want to create various effects, however it is just so dark! I am very pale and can only imagine it will wash me out (I may stand to be corrected once I have tried and tested).

Over all this box was pretty good! As I said at the start I've only had 3 boxes from Glossybox so far and am pleased with every single one. Glossybox (http://www.glossybox.co.uk) is £10.00 a month plus postage and packaging. I currently get mine in the UK however I do know they have worldwide boxes too.

My Thoughts- Benefit RollerLash Mascara

Hey everyone!
Today I decided to pull out my Benefit Rollerlash Mascara from my collection and see what all the hype was about. I know I don't post many reviews yet but I thought this was a great place to start!
Firstly, the packaging. I love how slimline and beautiful Benefit make their products. Colours are always a big thing for them and I think they've hit it right on the spot here. Pink and black is very classy and the full size version of this mascara is no different! The lid especially is beautiful!
The wand- oh how I wish all my mascaras had this wand! I love the curved shape to this, most of my mascaras are straight wands! I did find myself using the under side more however as the top longer bristles did not pick up much product (that could just be because this is a sample however). I did find that this curved wand did fit my eyelashes perfectly and I didn't have to move the wand over much.
On to the actual product (excuse the blurry picture here, it didn't come out how I wanted it too!). The formula of this mascara is perfect, not too thick, not too thin! It applied really well and when applying it did seem to curl. However when the mascara had dried, it all drooped (as you can see in the photo). I do love this as a thickening mascara (my lashes look huge!), but I wouldn't say use this to curl unless you use eyelash curlers before.
(I love my eyes in this photo! Blue always brings out the brown in them!)

I hope you all liked my first review, I'm sure I will a few more in the future if this goes down well!

March Project Pan- update 2

Hey everyone!
So I had written down for Cinco De Mayo to be posted today however, I moved that forward so here is my weekly project pan update instead. I've managed to finish 2 products this week including my Clinique Chubby Stick, my first ever lipstick finished! I will edit this post when I get home to include photos of those for you all.
Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer- I'm actually surprised at how little of this I have left! I had to shine a light up it and the product is stuck all around the edges. I should have this done by next week, but I really need to work on it!
Stilla Lipgloss- oh how I hate your stickiness. My hair gets stuck in this product whenever I wear it and I just want it gone. I'm thankful that I didn't spend my money on this and it came in a birchbox. I must use this up.
Aussie Take the Heat Cream- hopefully this will be done by next week. My hair takes 6 pumps of this to go through my hair and although I liked it at the start, I no longer do. I also have another heat protectant cream in my backup!
Unknown Hair Mask- I still hate the smell of this hair mask and although I've used a small bit, it still has another few weeks left in it. I can't wait to say goodbye to this and use my sweet smelling one from Birchbox.

Can you tell I'm enjoying my project pan a bit more now I'm going through items? Also, my background is back!

Mini Haul & First Impressions

Hey everyone!
Now I know I'm on a low buy (done amazingly well as i haven't bought anything since 21/2/15) however these were a must. I have really oily skin but recently I've been coming out with really bad cystic acne. And they hurt, BAD. So it was time to buy a few things to try out.
It was time for me to go to Superdrug and get my usual face masks anyways, so these other two were added into my basket. Everyone in the blogging/YouTube world has raved about the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water and it was on offer so that came home with me.
My first thoughts:
I love that this has no scent! It took 2 cotton pads to take off my makeup (for my spots), but looking at them afterwards it took EVERYTHING off. Even stubborn eyeliner! For only £3.32 (on offer) I thought this was a steal! I'll give a full review after using it for a few weeks.
This little beauty is the Vitamin E Hot Cloth Cleanser by Superdrug own brand. It's said to be a dupe for the Liz Earl hot cloth cleanser (which I have been dying to try). I was given a heads up about this on Instagram and decided to pop it in my basket for only £4.99 (for both the cleanser and cloth). My first thoughts, I like the gentle smell and smooth texture. It removed a little more makeup (after using the Micellar water) and left my skin feeling fresh. Again, a review can be done if wanted after a few uses.
These darling babies are my holy grail face mask (as of yet). Coming in at £2.59 (3 for 2), each mask is gentle on the skin, relaxes you with the smell and I do see results. My only gripe is the purifying mask is a little strong and makes my eyes water (however it's the best for spots). I currently have 3 of these up for grabs on my giveaway on Instagram too!

I'll pop back with an updated thoughts and feelings on these items in 2 weeks.

Finish 5 by Cinco de Mayo- Update 2

Hey everyone!
I'm a little late on this one, but seen as I used to update on the 15th of every month, I'm early. Last month I had finished 2 items, this month, not so much. Here's how I looked last month:
I actually have progress on all these items. However I don't think I'm going finish my eyeliner. More on that later.
Soap & Glory body wash- (Lighting bad from boyfriend mums side table) This I use as a body wash and a hand wash so it's permenantly on my wash basin. Bare in mind as well that this was a full product when we started. Hopefully this will be near gone by 5th may.
Rimmel Vinyl lipgloss- okay I made a big mistake with this. I decided last week to take the stopper out of it as my wand was not getting anything. I did it and now I get way to much product! However I'm loving that this is going as fast as it is.
Maybelline gel eyeliner- This is where I'd love to be able to show you the progress. I have a massive dip in this! Hopefully I'll hit pan sometime this next month. I don't think I'll finish it though as I only use it once a day.

Not much progress to show you, however in a way, there was loads too! I hope I can finish a few more products soon.

March Project Pan- Update 1

Hey everyone!
So it's update one time and you'l see I've made some pretty quick progress. Thankfully I wanted this to be quicker and see myself finishing items quickly. On to my updates:
- Aussie Take the Heat leave in cream- managed to use this every time I washed my hair but I'm really starting to dislike it! My hair seems almost brittle with it in.
- Soap & Glory Heel Genis- yeah, I need to use this more. Defiantly every night.
- Unbranded Hair mask- this has been used once this week but due to the fact I have thick hair, a lot went! It can also be used once a week.
- Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer- as you can tell by the markings, no change here. I use it everyday however you can't see anymore product leaving the sides.
- Stilla Lipgloss- I've used this a few times, however I still find it way to sticky!
- Clinique Chubby Stick Sample- this has became my favourite version of a lipbalm! I do love my chubby pencils and I will be sad to see this go.

As you can probably tell I use 3 products up this week. They were:
- Soap & Glory Hand Dream
- Maybelline Baby Skin Primer
- Seventeen Miricle Matte Powder
You can probably also see that my background is different. I'm currently at my boyfriends mums house and my normal background will resume soon!

2015 Use It Up List

Hey Everyone!
Today I've decided to post up my 2015 use it up list. It might help you all see how I class my project pans every month. With the help of Megmakeup8 on YouTube, I decided that once I use 2 from each category I can buy one from my wish list. On to the items!
- Rimmel Bb Cream in Matte, sample and large
- Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer
- Seventeen Miricle Matte Powder (ProjectPan)
- NYC loose Powder Foundation
- Unknown Brand in brown (too dark, use as a contor in summer)
- Maybelline Baby Skin (ProjectPan)
- Seventeen Stay Time Wear
- Nicka Blush from Glossybox (way too messy!)
- NYC blush (I just want pan!)
- Calvin Klein eye base in Brown
- Benefit Roller Lash Mascara Sample
- Technic Lash Mascara
- Barry M eye and lip pencil in 1
- Collection 2000 eyeliner in Purple
- Eyeko Fat stick in black
- Stilla Lipgloss (ProjectPan)
- Soap & Glory Lipgloss
- Rimmel Vinyl Gloss (#finish5byCinco)
- Rimmel Kate Lipstick in 08
- Maybelline Colour Sensational Lipstick
- Rimmel lipbalm in Purple (what was I thinking?!)
- Lipsmackers in Fanta and Coke
- Natural lipbalm from Glossybox
- Revlon colour balm in Honey
- Clinque chubby stick sample
- Ice Pour Femme (constant ProjectPan)
- Star Perfume (I think it's called Funky)
- Sex & the City perfume (from a set)

I decided with perfumes that if I finish 5 by the end of 2015 (or even before), then I can buy either Marc Jacobs Daisy (again!) OR Viktor&rolf BonBon. I have already used up 2 this year.

I hope this helped with how I pick my Project pans each month, not including skincare or body of corse. That's a different post entirely!
