February Empties

Hey everyone,
It's that time of the month again where I show you everything I have used in the beauty side of things. I don't think I have used up as much as last month, however most of the finished items are full size and did take a while to use up. If you don't know how I do my empties yet, every time I finish an item I write down it's value in a note book (to add up at the end of the month) and keep them in a little bin. I then tally up the total amount and value at the end of the month.
I finished:
2 Haircare
9 Skincare
5 Bodycare
3 Samples
8 Makeup (one in a palette)
8 Wax (not shown here, empties for that are posted on Instagram @Piperbeauty)
1 Eyeshadow (palette to be decluttered)
3 Misc

All in all this month I managed to finish a value of £160.41. Which considering I thought I had less empties this month is amazing! This is mostly due to finishing off Body shop items and the hair mask which was £18 alone! Hopefully I'm aiming for another good month next month, keep this journey going.

7bySpring- Update 2

Hey everyone,
I have another project pan update for you all today and this is a project which I thought I would be trailing behind on considering we only have one month now until the finale! Considering this is a shorter project, I think so far I've done well!
So far I've finished off:
Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer
Balm Desert Sample (hit pan)
Rimmel Exaggerate Lipliner in Eastend Snob
Crave in Naked Basics (hit pan)
Clinique Mascara Sample Size
Revlon Balm Stain in Honey
Dior Tye Dye Lipstick in 006 Nude Fever
I never saw myself actively panning this product at the beginning of the project, however since I've been enjoying it so much and that it is am expensive product, I'm hoping I finish it. I have just under 1cm of product left to finish in this project and I think that if I focus on it, it will be gone. Which in turn will be upsetting and a goal!
Finish Naked 2 in Naked Basics
Again this is a product I didn't believe I'd be anywhere near finishing nearer to the end but I do believe I will have used almost all of this eyeshadow by next month. I use naked 2 as my translation crease colour everyday and if I focus on the part which is near the name, I will have almost hit my goal and be satisfied.
BONUS: The Balm Balm Desert Bronzer Sample
I added this product to finish as an added extra but by the time a month will have come round, I don't think i will have finished it off. I may have widened the pan more but no where near finished. This i am not complaining about though as I love this colour on me and a full size is just way out of my budget at the moment.

I hope your all doing well on this project so far, not long to go. Time for the final push!

Stila Project 10 Pan- Update 4

Hey everyone,
Two weeks have passed already and I'm really unimpressed with my progress. Luckily once managed to finish another item up so I've decided to add another item in.
So far I've finished:
Stay all day Liquid Liner in Indigo
Lip Glaze in Gleam
Convertable colour in Magnolia (hit pan)
Desire eyeshadow (hit pan)
Wonder eyeshadow (hit pan)
Dune eyeshadow (hit pan)
Colour corrector powder
Smudge Stick eyeliner in Lionfish
As per every update, I have no way of knowing how much I have left in this product however I have been using it everyday on my lower lashline. Now that my liquid liner has finished, I'm going to start using this on my upper lashline smudged out with black eyeshadow from my Stila palette.
Smudge Crayon in Antique
I've been using this everyday I wear makeup however I have only made about 2mm of progress on my paper. I can't complain though, any progress is good progress. In total I have made 2cm worth of progress on this product in this project. I do want this to be finished soon as I have a lot of eye bases I want to use before the end of the year.
Lip Glaze in Orchard
I must be entirely honest with this product and say I really don't enjoy it. I haven't even re-marked this product this month as so little was used. I've tried to use this on top of lipsticks, on it's own and even just on a Lipliner. It just looks wrong. Maybe if I could just force myself to use it up, it'll be gone soon.
Lip Glaze in Precious Pink
Now I know what your thinking, why have you put in another lip glaze? Well this colour is just like the first one I managed to use up in my project. It's a light pink colour with micro glitter which looks great on top of product or on it's own. I am starting this off completely new I'm this project however I don't think it will be here long!

I've still got a long way to go on this project however I am extremely happy with the progress I have made on my collection.

#14by14Feb- Finale

Hey everyone!
It's already finale time for the 14by14Feb challenge and I really think I did well! I've managed to finish/hit pan on 17 items for this project. I want to thank the creators (Glamour with Grace and The KristenKay Channel on YouTube) for coming up with this project as I really managed to get a lot out of my ever growing collection.
I managed to finish:
Clinique Eye Makeup Remover
Simple Facial Toner
InstaNatural Retinol Serum
Dandelion Blush (hit pan)
Natural Collection Powder
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Pink-a-boo
Benefit Ooh La Lift sample
Manna Kadar Eyelash Primer
Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray
No7 Concealer
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
Faint in Naked Basics (hit pan)
Light Pink Eyeshadow
Mac MSF light plus
Barry M Flawless Primer
Maybelline Babylips in Cherry

So Susan Highlighting Pencil
So the only item I didn't finish off I knew would still be sticking around. I've actually managed to use up 3cm worth of product in this project and will continue to use this in my everyday routine as a base for my browbone highlighter.

Overall I am very proud of where I managed to get with this project and hope many more will be the same.

Glossybox- February 2016

Hey everyone!
I really don't know how to start this months post. Probably best to get out the way the fact that I've now cancelled Glossybox and March's box will be my last review. Why? Well basically I've found that I keep getting products I can't use and repeat items. I don't find this box as fun anymore (which you've probably seen from my reviews) and this includes this box too. Glossybox is £10 a month + postage and you can purchase subscriptions for these, three, six and a year.
Before I get into this months Glossybox, I did also receive a sorry gift from the customer service for them sending me a duplicate item. This is what I received.
I really can't fault Glossybox's customer service and every time I've had to contact them, I've had a really good experience from them. Other subscription box companies could take a page out of their book.
As for this months box, I always go in the order of most excited to least excited and unfortunatly it was hard for me to place. Here's what I chose.
Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Condition- full size is £10.64- luxury size
I don't know if many of you know this but I do like my hair masks and use one every other time I wash my hair. I tend to leave them on for ten minutes and then wash off with cold water. Cold water helps lock shine in. I do like the products I have tried from Naobay from Glossybox before so I am the most excited about this product.
MUA Power Pout Glaze Low Voltage Gloss- full size- £3.50
I musts admit when subscribers were asked to pick the gloss they would like to receive in this box, I wasn't excited by the options. I picked the nude as I knew I would be able to wear this at work, however I must admit it's more like a clear. You have to click this pen quite a lot at the start proving there really isn't much product in this. Expect to see this in my empties soon.
The Vintage Cosmetic Company Floral Slanted Tweasers- full size- £8
Need I say more why I wasn't very impressed about recieving these? I can buy some good Tweasers at my local supermarket and we even sell this make of Tweasers at work so they are pretty easily accessible to me. Very disappointed.
Wilkinson Sword Intuition Razor- Full size- £6.99
Normally I would be pretty happy about recieving a full size and good brand razor however due to the fact I've been with Glossybox for over a year, I have actually recieved a Wilkinson Sword razor before. I was a little disappointed that this item was in the February Valentines box too.
Nicka K New York 24H Waterproof Eyeliner- Full size- £3.99
I really do have way too many eyeliners now to be excited by this. I do like the fact that it's creamy and a colour which is wearable, however I really don't need another. Especially from a subscription box.

I'm sorry to have sounded like such a downer on this review but I'm just not enjoying this box anymore. I'd rather give you an honest review.

Stila Project 10 pan- Update 3

Hey everyone!
I've just looked at my blogging calender and already it's my one brand project pan update time! I can't believe this has come round so quickly, let alone the fact that I've only done 2 updates and my intro to this project although it seems like forever a go that I started it. I now only have 4 products left in the project so let's see what's left!
So far I have finished/hit pan on:
Lip Glaze in Gleam
Convertable Colour in Magnolia
Desire eyeshadow (hit pan)
Wonder eyeshadow (hit pan)
Dune eyeshadow (hit pan)
Colour corrector powder

Smudge stick eyeliner in Lionfish
As I say with every update, I have no idea when this item will be done. One day I will go to use it and I won't be able to twist it up anymore. I do use this product everyday on my waterline and somedays on my tight line, smudged out. Only time will tell when this finishes.
Stay all day liquid liner in Indigo
I have actually found a way to wear this in my everyday work wear! I use this as my normal liquid eyeliner and then go over the top of it with my black shade from my Stila palette (this years pan that palette). I find that this combination only goes with nude or light pink eyeshadow but I don't mind as this is better for my work look.
Smudge Crayon in Antique
Although I have used this everyday as a base for my eyeshadow I have actually only made 4mm of progress. I have however over the last month made some serious progress on this product and with consistant use I could be nearing the end of the product by the end of the project. I am surprised how little this product moves and how slowly it takes to use up.
Lip glaze in Orchard
I really dislike the colour of this product. I think if I decided to start this project over again I would have picked two nude colour lipglosses and they would have been gone by now. I use this colour only on my days off when I know I don't have to re-apply and that no-one will see me. I don't have much to go, just need to continue using it.

As you can see, I really don't have much left in this project considering we are only a month into it. I do need to focus on using the lip glaze and the liquid eyeliner this month though and get them out of my collection.

Flamingo Candles- The Melt Crowd (February)

Hey everyone,
If any of you follow me on Instagram (@Piperbeauty), you would have noticed my growing interest for candles and wax melts. I have always been interested in melting wax and candles as I feel this relaxes me and helps my health out. So after a few months of following people who get The Melt Crowd from Flamingo Candles, I decided to sign up and give it a go. The subscription is £10 a month for 8 wax melts and when you sign up you get a free wax melter. Here is my first box.
This is the free wax melter you receive upon signing up. Unfortunatly I won't be able to use this as it is a tea light melter (although at the moment that isn't stopping me!) but I can still use the wax melts as I have an electric melter.
This months box we recieved:
Kir Royal
Cherry Slush (from the Circus range)
Acai Berry (melt crowd preview)
Pink Lemonade
Espresso (melt crowd preview)
Bamboo & White Grapefruit (melt crowd exclusive)
Rose (melt crowd exclusive)
Love Bug 2 Hearts
From cold sniff, I think these four will be my favourite: Kir Royale, Rose, Pink Lemonade and the Love Bug Hearts. I have noticed I like a very floral yet clean scent in my small room and so far have picked out some very spring and summer scents to use all year round.
My least favourite from this box from cold sniff is defiantly the Espresso. I don't like coffee at all and the scent makes me feel sick. This melt actually scented the whole box upon opening it which wasn't very nice for my first box to open. Luckily I have already found someone who wants this and will be sending to her instead. I hate to see wax go to waste.

As always with The Melt Crowd, you do receive a 20% discount code to use on their site for any of the melts that appeared in the box. However I don't think I will be able to buy Rose again as it is an exclusive. We will see. I can't wait for this box to arrive every month and I know this will get used well.
