Nars Glossybox- unboxing and review

Hey everyone!
Today I have a special unboxing for you all. I recently managed to get hold of one of the Nars for Glossybox boxes which sold out in 28 minutes and today I'd like to show you all what's in it and my thoughts. The box itself was £30 for subscribers plus postage. It contains 5 deluxe size samples of Nars' most popular products. For non-subscribers this box was £35 + postage.
I must say, the packaging for this Glossybox was absolutely spot on! The box itself is a beautiful matte black exactly like Nars packaging. Inside the ribbon was printed with the Nars text and featured black tissue paper and a black Glossybox sticker. I believe this is one of the best packages that Glossybox has made!
As always I'm going to go from my favourite to my least favourite in the box, although I'll say now I love all of this box!
Nars Satin Lip Pencil Deluxe Sample in Rikugien
I had to just start with this item. I've had this satin lip pencil on my wish list for what seems like forever and I must say, I tried this straight away. The hype on YouTube is so right. It's a perfect everyday colour with a beautiful sheen. I did notice that it didn't last long on my lips but I don't mind re-applying this beatiful colour. A full size of this product is £19.
Nars Blush deluxe sample in Orgasm
No best of Nars box would be complete without the famous Orgasm blush. Although it does look like a really dark colour, applied with a light hand, it turns into a lovely flush. Luckily I had the perfect blush brush (Eco tools) that fit into this blush and of corse it's lovely for work. A full size would cost £23.
Nars Larger than life eyeliner deluxe sample in Via Veneto
I really don't have much to say about this eyeliner. It's always good to have a solid black eyeliner and of corse I tried this out during my 8 hour shift at work. It lasted well but by the end of my shift I had noticed the outer corners were faded and smudged (probably me though). I will be trying this product out again though as I'm pretty sure I could use this up. A full size would cost you £19.
Nars Multiple Deluxe Sample in Orgasm
I've only put this cult favourite product so low because I really don't have a clue how to use it. Is it just a cream blush or do I have to use it other ways? I think I need to have a good read on blogs and on YouTube to find out. If you have an idea, please could you let me know in the comments. A full size of this is £29.
Nars Audacious Mascara Delxue Sample
Again I only have one reason for having this product so low and that is that it broke in shipping.
Unfortunatly when I openned the product the first time the brush stayed inside the product. I have already contacted Glossybox with photographs and they have said they will send me a replacement. I must say Glossybox's customer service are fantastic. I've had to get into contact with them before and each time they have been amazing.

As you can see I think this is great value for Nars products and although I have some items to figure out and test yet, I'm in love with this Glossybox!

My Highend Makeup collection

Hey everyone!
So I thought I'd come at you with a second blog post today! Recently I've been thinking about how much higher end makeup I actually own and without doing this post, I didn't think I owned too much. Until I took these photos. I don't think I find high end makeup any better than the drugstore and until my budget can allow me to buy more high end, I'll stick with getting a few treats here and there.
Lipticks and lipglosses:
Mac Viva Glam Rihanna- bought on ebay, love the colour when blotted
Too Faced Melted Nude- one of my favourite liquid lipsticks
Nars Valkyrie- only worn once, very drying
Ysl Tint-in-oil- beautiful gloss, just dries quickly
Stila Glosses in Pout and Gleam- sticky gloss but can be used quickly in project pans
Christian Dior Limited Edition Tie Dye lipstick in 01 nude- beautiful colour, perfect for work!
Bases and Foundation:
Emite Diamond Primer Sample- brand new and never used
Bare Minerals Prime Time in oil control and original- original doesn't work with my oily skin, oil control hasn't been used much
Eborian CC Cream- white cream which changes to your skin colour. Too dark for me.
Estée Lauder Double Wear- perfect for my oily skin, had this since March and I use it a lot. A little goes a long way!
Too Faced Bb cream- I wear this on my days off as it has a slight coverage but just enough. Quite orange in colour.
Mac MSF (mineral skin finish) in light- I recieved this in a beauty box and haven't put it down since.
Tarte Marakuja Cheek Cream in nude- new product, not tested out yet.
Stila Convertable Colour- perfect coverage with a stippling brush!
Christian Dior Limited edition Tie dye blush in peach- I love this colour but am so scared to make a dent in that beautiful top!
Nars Dual Intensity Blush- recently bought but loving the pale peach for everyday with a sheen.
Mac mineralised blush in Dainty- a total holy grail product! I recently tried to hit pan but am so glad I haven't managed it!
Eye Products:
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara- another holy grail product! Seperates my lashes and gives volume!
Eyeko Blue Mascara- used once, but I don't like the tube it's in. Makes it very messy.
Clinique Mascara- love using this, but as it's a small sample, I don't use it often so I can keep having it in my collection.
Stila Smudge Crayon in Antique- again a product I've used once and found that it was rather copper in tone.
Stila sparkle waterproof liquid eye liners in Bora Bora and Royal- I've actually used these once and although they are very glittery, the colour sticks and stays!
Stila Stay all day Waterproof liquid eyeliner in Indigo- I love these eyeliners. They really do stay all day and the colour is very vivid.
Stila Smudge Stick Waterproof Eyeliners in Black Amethyst, Tetra and Lionfish- again I don't have anything negative to say about these! They do stay in my water line all day!
Stila Single eyeshadow in Pigalle- used once, but have to say they blend really well and although a dark shadow is not too dark.
Eyeshadow Palettes:
Stila In the Moment Palette- beautiful shadows and combinations. Watch out for this palette next year!
Smashbox Palette- used a few times, but holy pigmentation batman! Do they stain the skin.
Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette- as you can tell I love this palette to death. Currently the only palette I'm using. Very buttery and glide on well.
The Balm Nude'tude palette- never used but swatched, lovely colours and a good all round colour scheme.

Well that's everything highend I own and as you can tell from my mini reviews, I really need to use it! Next year I think I'm going to focus on using these and my next project pan I think will be a Stila themed as inspired by Glamour with Grace (on YouTube)'s all Mac project pan. I believe it would move out a good few products. If anyone is wondering most of this high end collection is bought at Tk Maxx reduced, especially Stila.
I hope you enjoyed everyone! I may do a highend skincare post soon, would you enjoy that?

Cohorted- My little Treat Beauty Box

Hey everyone,
I really didn't expect to be blogging today but guess what finally turned up? My Cohorted My little Treat box. If many of you have seen my recent twitter posts (@BeautifulBeads1), I was having trouble contacting Cohorted about the where abouts of this box for the last week. It's original dispatch day was supposed to be 15th October but it only arrived today due to asking where it was. I am not normally one to slash a company like this but the customer service was really poor considering the prices and items toy receive in the boxes from them. However the boxes themselves are amazing!
On October 1st, Cohorted came out with 4 new beauty boxes which were one off purchases and this box caught my eye straight away. The my little treat box is £19.99 + postage and packaging (which now come via Royal Mail in the Uk) and considering one of these products is £24 normally, I was jumping on the confirm button straight away. As usual I will unbox this going from my favourite item to least favourite item.
Mac Mineralize Skin Finish Natural in Light Plus
I'm a sucker for a Mac product however I do not have the disposable income to keep buying their products so that's why you don't see many Mac products around my blog. An MSF (Mineralize Skin Finish) is £24 retail price and much more on ebay however they have been on my wish list for a while. So of corse I was going to purchase this box for this product alone! This product is a domed face powder (which matches me perfectly) infused with minerals that blends in seamlessly to the skin. Reviews of this product will follow in the future.
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Walkyrie
My first Nars product! I've been eyeing up these lip pencils for a while (not necessarily the matte ones) especially the colour Rekugian and this pencil is pretty darn close! After first application (as soon as this came it was on!) I found it to glide on just like a normal bullet lipstick however after a few minutes, it dried down to a really matte formula. I love the colour, I love the idea, unfortunately I just found it so drying on the lips. The colour stayed on for a really long time, but as soon as I ate food and drank the colour was gone. Just something to think about for the future.
Ciate Nail Varnish in serendipity
As I said in my post yesterday, I have a love/hate relationship with Ciate and I was a little disappointed seeing them in this box. I can find Ciate at my local Tk Maxx for less than £3 so to me this is not an expensive brand. The colour is a beautiful red glitter on a clear base, a perfect topper for Christmas or the coming winter months.
BareMinerals Soft Focus Face Brush
This product only came last because I have had it in a Cohorted box before. I do love the brush itself, very soft with a perfect length handle however I do not need two. I have found that this brush works perfectly with the Benefit sample blushes or even their box blushes. This brush will be passed on to another family member.

As you can see I neither loved nor hated this box as it had its good and bad bits and with Mac and Nars featuring I can see why they say the boxes value is £81.50. However because I have bad such a poor experience with their company both times I have had their boxes, I will not be ordering from Cohorted again. Personal experience that is all.
