Waxbox Unboxing- April

Hey everyone,
I've just recieved my April Waxbox in the post and I must admit I'm so excited about this box that I openned it straight away and I'm writing this review just after! It's an amazing box and opening it, you smell everything straight away. I currently purchase the £10 + p&p waxbox (that's per month) however there is also a bigger option which allows you to get more items.
This waxbox is the companies 1year birthday so we did have one bigger surprise in there too! Happy Birthday Waxbox!
Kringle Candle Wax Melt- Sweet Pea
I do currently own a Kringle candle wax melt, however I have not melted them before. These pots contain up to 5 wax melts (if split), however to get more throw it may be an idea to use more than one section. Upon first sniff of Sweet Pea, I do get a very light scent which is almost candy like to me. I think this melt will be a light thrower and may need a mixer tealight.
Kringle Candle Wax Melt- Sparkling
Straight away I will say wow with this scent. I automatically get a lime fizz smell which could almost smell candy like too. I already know this one is going to be tried this month as I can sense it will be a relaxing melt.
Busy Bee Candles Magik Beanz Hot Shots- Butter Popcorn
I have actually already tried this brand from ebay and I know the throw is great. However I have never tried their Magik Beanz before and the idea is you use more Beanz the more throw you would like. Initially I smell the butter from these melts and considering I can't eat popcorn at the moment, these will be a lovely substitute. These are a melt that I wouldn't purchase on my own however.
Woodwick Wax Melt- Island Coconut
This wax melt packs a punch even on cold sniff! When i openned the waxbox, this is the first scent I could smell. I am a lovely of all things coconut or piƱa colada, so smelling this is amazing. The size of this wax melt could also mean that you could get two melts out of this (chopping it in half) and I'm sure the throw would last a good few hours. Another melt that will be used this month!
Mystic Melts- Monkey Farts
This is a brand I've never tried before and it smells amazing! Available to buy from Facebook and made in the UK, this melt smells just like bananas and bubblegum! It's a sweet, yet enticing smell which will sure make an banana lover happy!
Owl Tealight Wax Melter (mini)
For our "birthday" present from WaxBox we all recieved these mini owl wax melters which are adorable! I currently am not allowed to use these in my room, however when I move into my new place this will have a pride of place and be used to melt all my mini melts and left over wax brittle pieces. It's adorable!

So far I am loving Waxbox and think Paula is doing amazing! Happy birthday again Waxbox, enjoy it and melt to your heart content!

24by4July- update 2.

Hey everyone,
As I recently said in my first update, until I start using up a lot more of the items in this project these updates will be short and sweet I'm afraid. Since last update I have now finished a total of 8 items. Im really rather proud if how well this project is going.
So far I have finished:
Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss
Nivea Face Wash
Tanya Burr "moonlight" eyeshadow
Garnier Micellar Water
Dior Lipstick in 006
Revlon Nearly Naked Powder
Stila Lionfish eyeliner
Bodyshop Fijian Water body butter

Juicy Couture Frangrance-
consistant use, could be finished in 2.5 months.
Barry M "Meadow" Nail Polish- I need to use this more, no progress here.
Nars "orgasm" Blush- used everyday with other blush, no pan yet.
Nars Rekugian- since last update I have had consistant progress. Hopefully finish this soon.
Stila "improvise" eyeshadow (dark purple)- I have made a little dent in this however I have noticed I no longer need to set my eyeliner for it to stay.
Stila "impulse" eyeshadow (light purple)- using everyday as my lid shade, I have a slight dip going now.
TooFaced Born this way foundation- I've found that as I was using this that my skin has become more oily and this foundation now breaks up on me after a 4 hour shift at work. That's why not much progress has been made. I have been opting for other foundations over this one.
Deep Steep Body Wash- slow and steady wins the race with this body wash. I've also been using a different body wash this last month so maybe that is why the progress is slow.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze- as you can see I have a lovely dip going on here. I use a brush to apply this and put a light colour on top to lighten it. Lovely with my purple eyeshadow.
Isa Dora Lipliner- I will be honest, I haven't used this much. The colour is way to dark for the other lip items in this project but I will carry on trying to use it.
Revlon "Pink Afterglow" lipgloss- another with no progress. I really haven't used it at all.
Mac "dainty" blush- I use this every other week, swapping with my Nars blush and I can still say I like dainty the most out of my collection.
Revlon "Juicy Papaya"- ive used this a few times and you can see a small amount of progress. This will be an amazing balm for June when I have my summer holiday.
The Balm Balm Desert Bronzer- consistant progress and more pan from the last update. I hope to have this finished within the next month. Still my favourite bronzer.
L'oreal Infallable Mattifying Base- as you can see I really do use this almost everyday. I don't find it helps Mattify me though as I am oily again after 4 hours of work.
Too Faced Liner Sample- I am in love with this liner. It's so creamy (which means more sharpening) and stays in my waterline even without setting. Super black too!
Technic "Indian Red" lipstick- another product I really haven't used. I need to focus on the other products now.
Stila Trio Illumunating- I've been using this almost daily as a collar bone highlight and the pink as a inner corner highlight. I have a good dip in the pink but more is neded else where.
Marc Jacobs "Daisy"- consistant use, alternated with my other purfume.
Batiste Dry Shampoo- only a few more uses from this product and I will need a new one!
Nip + Fab Dark Circle- in love with this product and I never want it to go. No idea how much I have left of this!
Maybelline Master Prime eyeliner- I really am not using this, but i plan to make this month my eyeliner month to get this gone. The tip is already dying out.

Wow, that was a lot to write about! As you can see I get stuck in my ways with my work makeup especially seen as I now only work 4 hour shifts at a time. I need to experiment more and use more items from this project.

March Empties!

Hey everyone,
So it's that time of the month again and I'm shocked this time. I don't have as many empties as I'd imagine I'd have. I have been working through some of my full size items, so maybe that's it. Anyways here's all my empties!
So I used up:
2 Haircare
6 Skincare
6 Bodycare
5 Samples
7 Makeup
14 Wax (not shown in this photo)
2 eyeshadows
3 Misc

The total amount equals to £196.16 when all prices added up. I think this is an astonishing amount considering there is so little there, however I do have a Dior lipstick in there and a few other items over £10. This next month I'm planning a no buy once again as I seem to get through more when I do those! Wish me luck!

24by4thJuly- update 1

 Hey everyone,
I don't know why but I was really reluctant to write this post today. I've found myself enjoying YouTube a lot more than normal and considering doing my project pans on there. However today's post is the 2 week update of my 24by4thJuly. As this is a longer post, I won't be writing much under each photo. There are 22 to update!
So far I've finished:
Dior lipstick in 006 Nude Fever
Stila eyeliner in Lionfish
BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipgloss
I've been trying to apply this every time I come into my room, hence the progress. I don't think this will be in the project long. Unfortunatly I can't take this to work as it leaks everywhere.
Juicy Couture mini perfume
Again another product I try to apply every time I'm in my room. Shouldn't be too long with this in the project.
Barry M nail polish in Meadow
I managed to apply this polish twice in two weeks. I find that I get bored of a colour quickly so I don't reapply straight away.
Nars mini blush in orgasm (hit pan)
I've been swapping these last two weeks between this blush and another in this project and so far the top of the blush is beginning to loose it's texture.
Nivea Gentle Cleansing Cream Wash
This product has gone down so much as I use it every morning as my face wash and sometimes in the evening if I feel greasy. I love how soft and gentle this product is.
Tanya Burr "moonlight" eyeshadow
I knew I liked this shadow but I wasn't sure how much! Already in the past two weeks I've worn this pretty much everyday to work and that much of a dent is already there. I'm not sure how deep these pans are so I maybe here a while. Also took a larger photo as I wanted to show I'm now using "starey sky" in my crease.
Nars mini lip pencil in Rekugian
This pencil goes really fast! I've already had to sharpen it twice and I've only worn it two days in the row weeks. I think if I focus on it, this will be gone early on.
Stila palette- Improvise
I'll be honest, I haven't used this much but I will start to use it to set my eyeliner.
Garnier Micellar Water
Again a lot of product has been used as I use this everyday to take my makeup off after work. I need to repurchase this again soon.
Stila Palette- Impulse
I've managed to use this shadow on top of my base in the project to make a light colour for work which will be used a lot. As you can see from the photo, the top layer has already been disturbed.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation
I've found that wearing this foundation to work (normally an 6-8 hour shift), that on my oily skin, it's gone in certain patches on my skin by the end of the day. I will work through this bottle but will not be repurchasing again.
Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation Powder
As you can see, I've been using this almost everyday and it's especially good on it's own for days when I don't wear the too faced foundation. This will be gone soon into the project.
Deep Steep Candy Apple Shower gel
I have managed to use this quite a bit since the intro and have found that although I dislike it, I think that is only because I can not smell a scent when in the shower! I know that MegsMakeup8 has this problem with shower gels too so I don't feel so weird now.
Maybelline Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze
The dip already created in this product I think is purely because I apply it with a brush rather than my fingers. This is an excellent base for my eyeshadows in this project and doesn't budge all day.
Isa Dora Lipliner
I'll be totally honest, I haven't used this at all. I really don't enjoy lip liners at the moment.
Revlon "Pink Afterglow" lipgloss
I realised just after last update that this product did actually have a dent in it and that is where the line is now. I haven't used it since.
Mac "dainty" blush
Seen as I've been using this in conjunction with my Nars blush you won't see much progress quite yet. I also think the mac blushes are pressed in quite heavily.
Revlon Juicy Papaya lipstick
This is another product I've been trying to put on during my time in my room as it's such a bright colour I really don't think I can wear this out until the end of April, beginning of June!
The Balm balm desert Bronzer Sample
This product is going to take me forever to use up! But I'm not sad about that as I love the colour of this bronzer on my skin tone. Since taking these photographs, I have since worn down the bottom side as well.
The Body Shop Body Butter in Fijian Water
I will be totally honest, this product will probably be gone by the next update. I love the body shop body butters and manage to use at least 2 a month. Expect to see another gone by the end of the project at least.
L'oreal Infallable Primer
Typical that when I take this photo, no progress is shown but a couple of days later, it's gone down by a lot! However the product is sticking up to the side where I mark it which is really annoying. I'm finding that with this primer I can only use it on my oily areas as foundation doesn't sit well on the other areas if this is used.
Too Faced Liner Sample
This is a beautiful eyeliner which glides on well and sits well in my waterline. Now that my Stila one is gone, full focus is on this one and it need sharpening about every 3 uses.
Technic Lipstick in Indian Red
This is another product I can now use, now that my Dior lipstick has gone. However I have found that this is a lot darker than the Dior and harder to wear to work.
Stila Illuminating Trio
As I have used one of these up pretty quickly in the past, I thought this one would be the same. However it isn't. That is purely because this one you don't need all over the face where as the other you did. I use the shimmery pink shade in my inner corner of my eye and the others I use all over the cheek bones and even on my collar bones.
Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume, Batiste Dry Shampoo, Nip + Fab dark circle fix and Maybelline Master Precise
These 4 products I have no way of showing you the progress (except Marc Jacobs as I don't want to ruin the bottle) but rest assured I have used all of these at least once in the last two weeks.

As you can see, I need to really work on some of these product but some will be done pretty quickly with some good use. Hopefully less photos and better explanations next update!
