December Empties!

Hey everyone,
It's that time of the month again where we see how much I've managed to use up from my collection. After doing my inventory of makeup and skincare recently, I've really found out that the amount I've been using up really hasn't made a dent in my collection. So for next year I shall be doing more projects, buying less items (and saving more money!) and writing down everything I do buy. After this last empties post of 2015, I will be doing a total items I have used post sometime by the end of next week. I also think I'm going to continue to write down the values and items I have used up as this has helped me push forward and use more up!
December I used up:
24 Skincare
5 Bodycare
7 Samples
8 Makeup
2 Misc items

Now although this doesn't seem a lot compared to previous months of my empties, I can promise you the amount in value is staggering! I used a total value of £183.94 this month! I believe this is so high due to the Mac MSF, Talika skincare and Ren Skincare. Also with my empties I have decided to count deluxe samples as full size as they take just as long to use up in my opinion.

Stay tuned for the final 2015 count of what I used up later this week!

One Brand Project Pan- Stila

Hey everyone,
So seen as I've now finished my last project 10 pan, I decided to shake it up a little and try a one brand project pan. I saw this idea recently on Glamour with Grace's YouTube channel where she panned various products from Mac cosmetics. I've decided to pan some of my Stila items as due to buying at work, I've got myself a little collection. I'm going to give myself until April 23rd to use up or hit pan on these 10 items and will update every 3 weeks.
Stila Smudge Stick eyeliner in Lionfish
As you will see in many of my updates I have no way of showing you the progress on this item as when you roll it up, it doesn't go down. This is a full smudge stick too so I expect this to last until the end of the project.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Eyeliner in Indigo
Another product I've barely used, that I love the colour of! I plan to use this with a light brown eyeshadow and a thin line of this product. With a slick of gloss (coming later), the whole look will be appropriate for work too. Again I also have no way of showing the progress on this product so we'll have to see how long it stays in the project.
Stila Lipglaze in Gleam
Now I already know that these products go quite quickly and with the re-application I do in these projects, I know this will be gone pretty quickly. I plan to use this glaze solely on it's own and on top of another product almost gone in my last project pan.
Stila Smudge Crayon in Antique
I really do like the colour of this base and I can see me using this for my basic everyday eye look most days. I can see the product going down quite quickly too as it's rather creamy. I have about 4cm of product to use up here.
Stila Convertable Colour in Magnolia (hit pan)
I already know I love this product and the colour for my skin tone is perfect! I've found that to use the product and to hit pan, I need to use a stipple brush and dot it on the back of my hand before use. If I can hit pan during this project, it also counts towards my use it up 2016.
Use Desire and Wonder (hit pan on both)
These are the two eyeshadows I plan to be wearing everyday until I've hit pan on them (hopefully within this project). Desire is a light cream colour which I plan to use all over my lid as base colour and Wonder is a light Rose gold colour which will be my main eyelid colour. I think these two colours really make a good work appropriate eye.
Stila Lip Glaze in Orchard
This is going to be my second option for lip glaze after I have finished the Gleam. I currently have 4 of these lip glazes in my collection and I know within the year I can use these up. If I can use these two lip glazes up within this project, it will count towards my use it up 2016.
Use Dune (hit pan)
I've also recently been using Dune as an eyebrow highlight which has already been making a dent in this product. So I decided to add in this product to try and hit pan on this product during this project. I only recently got this for Christmas so it maybe a while.
Use Colour Corrector Powder (50% use up)
I started using this colour corrector powder today and decided straight away that the grinder does not work. I then took it off and found that the powder works so much better with a powder brush. I can see me using this product up, let alone using 50% as I reapply this through out the day.

I hope that this intro to the project was helpful to you all to see how much you have in your stash of one brand. I can't wait to see how my favourite brand holds up during these 3 months!

Project 10 Pan- Final Update

Hey everyone,
I decided recently that it was time to finish my second Project 10 Pan and continue on with 2016's project pans. I found that this project took a while and that I only managed to finish 6 items. But anything is better than nothing!
In this project, I finished:
Maybelline Baby Skin
Revlon Nearly Naked Powder
Makeup Revolution Vivid Highlighter (hit pan)
No7 eyeshadow (hit pan)
Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake
Covergirl Lashblast Mascara

Ysl Tint-in-oil lipgloss
I'm happy with the progress I made with this project and although I didn't plan to use this product up, I do believe I made some serious progress. When applying the product I do have to "double dip" the wand to get a full application so maybe next year this will be used up.
Revlon Balm Stain in Honey
I knew this product would hang on until the very end. In the last month I used this product everyday and made some good progress. I managed to use up 1cm of product in this project and I plan to use this up in next years use it up challenge so expect to see it in project pans next year. I also want to finish this as a friend of my repurchased this for me for Christmas!
Marsk eyeshadow dust
In my last update I planned to throw this product out after my next update but since then I have been using it everyday to set my eyeliner and have made some serious progress! I managed to finish off half of this product during this project and believe that if I try to use it up again next year, it will be gone.
Isa Dora Icy Blue Kajal eyeliner
This product was another that I knew would be hanging on up until the end. Considering I started this product half way through the project (due to another eyeliner in another project), I think 2.5cm worth of used up product is good! I loved this colour and set with the Marsk dust, it worked really well for the winter period. This time next year, I will pull this product out again and try use up more.

As you can probably all guess by now (and will probably be posted on) I am writing this on Christmas Day! I don't have much time off at the moment and the next few days I have a few more updates and posts coming your way! So watch out for those and have a safe and merry Christmas!

Project Use it up 2016 Intro and 2015 Finale

Hey everyone,
So I thought it was time to update you all on 2015's project use it up and start 2016's already! If you have been following me on Instagram (@Piperbeauty), I've been doing monthly updates on what I would like to use up in that month and then updates on here through-out the year. So far I only have these few to go:
Soap and Glory Butter Yourself Body Butter- using
Revlon Balm Stain in Honey- using (almost gone)
Maybelline Galatic Mauve- barely used

I want to make a big dent in my collection next year so these are the items you can expect to see in my projects and monthly use it up's.
Some of these items I am already using as I have nothing else. I will state that next to the item itself.
Skincare and Bodycare:
Dr Organic Dead Sea Mineral Mask
Soap and Glory Whipped Clean- using as shave cream
Maria Nila hair masque- using
Face products:
Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation- almost gone, using
Mac Mineral Blush in Dainty (hit pan)
Shadows:
Maybelline The Nudes Palette (hit pan on a few shadows)
Claire's palette (finish two shadows with pan)
Marsk Mineral eyeshadow dust- using
Bella Peire Gold Dust
Eye products:
Colletion eyeshadow pencil in pink
Collection Lenghtening Mascara- using
Rimmel Scandleyes in 011- using
Bourjois Clubbing Waterproof eyeliner in 50 loving green
MeMeMe eyeliner in Clay
Stila eyeliner in Lionfish
Lip products:
Malin + Goetz Lip Moisturiser Sample
Maybelline Babylips in Cherry
Burts Bees Lip Shimmer in Grapefruit
Apothecary Tinties Lip Butter
Rimmel Oh My Gloss in 130 Purrrr..Glossy Cat
Revlon Lipgloss in Pink Afterglow
Technic in Indian Red (lipstick)
Bourjois in 18 Voiline Strass (lipstick)
Maybelline in 148 Summer Pink (lipstick)

As you can see I really want to make a dent in my eye and lip products next year and I'm hope my 2016 master list (coming soon) will help me do this. I'm also already working on a lot of these products already as any progress is good progress!

#14by14Feb- update 2

Hey everyone!
So it's time for #14by14Feb update and I must tell you, I can't believe how many items I've finished! I've decided as you'll see by the end I've decided to add in 2 more items which I've been using everyday anyways into this project and I'm sure there will be more to add too. This project was started by Glamour With Grace and The Kristen Kay Channel on YouTube. If you haven't seen these two yet, you need to check their channels out!
So far I have finished:
Clinique Eye Makeup Remover
Simple Facial Toner
InstaNatural Retinol Serum
Dandelion Blush (hit pan)
Natural Collection Powder
Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Pink-a-boo
Benefit Ooh La Lift Sample
Manna Kadar Eyelash Primer
Makeup Revolution Fixing Spray
Faint- Naked Basics (hit pan)

Garnier Miricle Sleeping Cream
I recently looked at how much I have left of this cream and I really don't have a lot. I need to make a point of using this every night and on my dry skin as this is really emolient and I must be fair, I don't like this. I won't be purchasing this again.
So Susan Highlighting Pencil
I've made a little bit of progress on this pencil even though I use this everyday and I don't expect this product to be finished by February however progress on it would be great. So far I think I've used about 2cm of this product.
Maybelline Fit Me Concealer
I really don't know when this concealer will finish, however I have now taken the stopper out and it means I now I have a lot more product to go. As you can see from the packaging, all of the writing has gone meaning I use this everyday. I do have other concealers I want to use so hopefully this will go soon.
Light Pink Eyeshadow
I've come to realise using this product that cheap eyeshadows are just powdery! I've used this every other week in conjunction with my other projects and look how much I have used! I use this over my brown base in my #9byNewYears and it makes it work appropriate. I do believe I will have this done by the 14th February.
Mac Mineralised Skin Finish in Light Plus
This is the first of the two items I've added in this round and I decided to add in my only face powder simply because I've already hit pan and I use it everyday. With the use two or even maybe three uses a day this powder gets, I'm sure it will be gone by 14th February.
Barry M Flawless Primer
You all must know by now how much I like a good primer and so far this one does a good job with keeping my skin matte all day. The only gripe I have with this product is that it goes so fast and that I only use 2 pumps a day! I defiantly can see this product gone before February and probably another primer too.

I'm enjoying how much I've used in this project and I must admit, projects with time limits actually help me to use items.

Project 10 pan- Update 5

Hey everyone,
I can't believe 2 weeks has gone already! I must admit I've barely used certain items in this project and that's mainly because I'm really bored of them. I'm considering ending this project soon, however I have only got just under a month to get as much finished as possible.
So far I have finished:
Maybelline Baby Skin
Revlon Nearly Naked Powder
Makeup Revolution Vivid Highlighter (hit pan)
No7 Eyeshadow (hit pan)
Revlon lip butter in Strawberry Shortcake
Covergirl Lashblast Mascara
YSL Tint-in-oil Lipgloss
I'll be totally honest here, I haven't used this product at all in the last two weeks but that's okay. My aim here wasn't to finish this product up but to use it more which I feel I have!
Revlon Balm Stain in Honey
I'm really proud of how far I've used this product! As you can see the small amount I have left is getting smaller but I must tell you, you really don't need a lot of this product and it lasts forever! I'm going to carry on using this until the end of the project and if it hasn't gone then, I may get rid as it's rather old.
Marsk Eyeshadow dust
I really don't have much of an update here for you all, however recently I did manage to hit pan while using it to set my next item! Again if this product isn't finished (and I doubt it will be) then I will be getting rid.
Isa Dora Kajal Eyeliner in Icy Blue
I'm very proud to say I've been using this product everyday and I've seen some very good progress. You can probably also tell I need to sharpen this product again too! As I said above, I set this product with my Marsk eyeshadow dust.
Maybelline Galactic Mauve
I'll be totally honest, I haven't used this and am going to take it out of the project and out it back in my draws. Don't get me wrong, I still love the colour but am focusing on other projects.

I'm sorry this post seemed like such a downer however I've decided I'm not going to post now until the 5th January which will be my final. Hopefully I'll have some good progress then!

Glossybox- December

Hey everyone!
It's that time of the month again and Glossybox is already here! I didn't even realise that the last month could go this quickly! Today I'm coming at you with a beautiful Glossybox! "The Rose gold edit" was created in collaboration with the beauty blogger Really Ree and consists of 6 items. If you do not know already Glossybox is £10 + p&p a month however you can buy packages too. Glossybox is also made in other counties too, so check out their website for more information.
I had to show you all this box before I even started! I don't know about you but Glossybox really has picked up their packaging game recently!
As per usual I'm going to start at my favourite and work my way down to the least favourite item.
Starskin Bio-cellulose Second Skin Mask- full size- £8.50
As you all know I love a good mask and when I saw this in my box I knew I have to try this! Unfortunatly I do want to wait until my cold has gone so I can smell the coconut! I have high hopes for this expensive mask however I hope I don't like it too much as £8.50 is a lot to pay for one application.
Etre Belle Golden Skin Caviar Eye Roll on- sample size- full size is £30.66
I also love some good skincare as I've already tried the brand Etre Belle before in a Glossybox, I knew this would be a good one! As soon as you roll this product on you are greeted with a cool feeling to instantly de-puff under eye bags (of which I have majorly dark ones). I have already popped this product into my makeup draws to apply when putting on primer as I've noticed it does have a bit of light reflecting gold shimmer, perfect for under foundation. I know this product will be a love!
L'occitane Shea Face Comforting Oil- sample size- full size is £29
I've also already broken out this little bad boy! As suggested, this oil is perfect for comforting and soothing the skin after a long hard day. I used this for the first time yesterday after my eye serum but before moisturiser and I loved it. It does not have a harsh smell, warms up nicely in your hands for application and is 100% natural. Unfortunatly the sample is so small that I won't see a difference in my skin to know if it's worth spending the money.
So Susan Statement Skin Highlighter Pencil- full size- £15
This colour is absolutely beautiful! However I do have a gripe about this product! It took off my foundation once blended into the cheekbones as a highlight. I will carry on with it though and tomorrow I'm going to try it out under my foundation for a more subtle highlight. I love this brand so I really hope that this product works!
Essence Liquid Lipstick in Show Off- full size- £2.50
I already know I love this product as I have a light nude pink already in my collection. It crosses between the pigment of a liquid lipstick but dries to a shiny gloss. Unfortunatly this product is only as low as it is because of the colour. A friend will be recieving this soon.
Collection Long Lasting Nail Effects- Full size- £2.99
Another great brand here and I love this colour! Only reason it is so far down is that I have loads of nail polishes!

As you can see this was a great month for Glossybox! A friend of mine did receive a holy grail product of mine in her box and I'm a little jealous but this was a great overall box. Keep it up Glossybox!
